AIRTEL VS. VODAFONE-A COMPLETE COMPARATIVE ANALYSIS ON INNOVATIVENESS OF SERVICE
This article is a complete comparative analysis on the innovative skills of AirTel and Vodafone.Please note that it has not been written with backing or promoting any of these two companies.Airtel being the largest telco of India,3rd largest in the world and a very fastly growing telco,has thrown a big challenge to Vodafone,India's 3rd largest and world's 2nd largest company.So,now let's take a look into innovativeness of service-In this category,Vodafone has a normal workforce and doesn't give so attention.But in the case of Airtel,only for their innovative excellence,they could survive with the other companies to be India's largest telco.If we see the worldwide scenerio,Vodafone operates in 70 countries and has 39.1 crore customers.Airtel has 24.3 crore customers by operating in only 19 countries!We can see,Airtel has a larger market share ratio if compared to Vodafone.What's the cause of this imbalance???-Because Airtel is the market leader in almost every country they operate in,while Vodafone is not-And why???-Because they are far better in service innovativeness.This specilasition has brought out many new services and slogans from Airtel as-early 4g/LTE service(from 7th Apr,12) in Kolkata circle,Airtel Money in India and Ghana,"Har ek friend zaroori hai yaar!"-a lively approach to Indian youth,logo rebranding and many more.So, we have to say,Airtel wins the race.
